Kathy My Thi is an artist who paints to the expression and portrayal of the meeting of divine embrace. As an artist, Kathy immersed herself to God and felt a sacredness at the core of rediscovery, to go beyond worldly barriers for every painting created, before a brush touch colors on a blank canvas and that is the journey inwards. Much of her work is inspired by divine grace, love and beauty.

With a limitless array of creative expression, Kathy’s work uses mixed media to paint representative art from the blend of romanticism, to post impressionism and to semi abstract with shapes and colors. She finds herself in two paradigms between the blur lines of realism and nonfigurative as this is how she perceives and views the world she lives in, where at times, her world can feel more of a dreamlike state.

Kathy My Thi has created a collection of songs over the years as she enjoys creating music and painting together in one form. She loves the idea of two coming in together as one and for this, she finds much joy in connecting painting and music. The captivating beauty of how two worlds of artistic outlets are interlaced and interconnected together. It is an interweaving to music to colors, from sound to visual, from creation to creation.
