Kathy My Thi is a self taught artist who dived into visual art using mixed media to paint from representative forms to the blend of semi-abstract expressionism. Her work has cultivated within 5 years of practice as a painter, integrating both post-Impressionism and impressionism.

"As an artist, I enjoy expressing painting the world I live in. To inspire that joy and simplicity can still be experienced as an adult of imagination."

Living in two worlds of realism and abstract, Kathy paints the way she feels from inspiration where the ebbs and flow of physical world meshes like a melody. She finds art to be a spiritual experience, the dance with the beauty of coming into oneness with everything around her. She spends her time in nature and flower gardens to observe and this is a way that opens her world to creativity in her art.
